In addition to the fabulous Main Street shops, delicious restaurants, and thrilling events, there will be several new and exciting things happening this summer at The Wharf: The 100 Days of Summer, SPECTRA, a Free Nightly Sound and Light Spectacular and The Family Fun Zone.
The 100 Days of Summer is The Wharf’s new ongoing summer theme for its season full of fun-packed concerts, tournaments and festivals. The Wharf’s Amphitheater has already announced several headlining artists including Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Dave Matthews. Rockin’ Thursdays will also return, a street party where both regional and local acts from all over the country will visit The Wharf and play for the public.
The Wharf will premiere The Family Fun Zone as part of the 100 Days of Summer, which will be a collection of twelve attractions, plus a midway area with games. Food and beverages will be served, but alcohol will not be permitted on the premises since this will be a family-friendly environment.
Another highly anticipated summer event at The Wharf is SPECTRA, The Wharf 
‘s free Sound and Light Spectacular, a state-of-the-art installation delivering popular, surround sound music set to choreographed lighting effects on the palm-lined Main Street begins on May 24, 2013, with two performance times each night - 8:30 and 10:00 pm. Music is specifically selected to engage the audience and immerse visitors into a very sophisticated light show experience.
